Enjoying the Summer with Friends

Our friends, Shannon and Brad, came to town. Shannon and I spent the day in Chinatown and had lunch at a great dimsum place right in the heart of it all. It was a really fun day!

Annabelle is the most self-sufficient girl I know. Tired of waiting for me to change the batteries in her talking panda, she took matters into her own hands.

Annabelle loves taking pictures of me lately, so she took this one the other day.
Chun Fen and Jin Yan's son Wei graduated from high school. He's now off to UC Berkeley. Smart kid!
More from the graduation

Annabelle and William had a Daddy/Daughter date night. They went to see Kung Fu Panda and they both loved it. Notice her gigantic drink and hot dog! I think she felt pretty cool having Baba all to herself for the night!

Our friends Linda and Gustavo (her Mom is in the pic, as Gustavo is taking the picture) are headed to Angola. Everyone's having an international adventure!

I hope everything goes well with your upcoming move. Save a place for us in China. Maybe we'll be able to join you guys on day. I completely understand your reasoning. Chris and I feel the exact same way. You'll never regret teaching your children what the rest of the world is like!
